Here there be monsters!

Well as I'm sure you've no doubt noticed, I've changed my blog around quite a bit lately.

I was trying to find a look that suits me and the blog, and until now was unable to do so. I got tired of searching for something so I finally just pulled up photoshop and created a background that suited me much better - kinda makes a monster-kid like me feel right at home, and I hope it does you, too.


Thought I'd share a couple more of my old monster cartoons with you today. I ran across the originals while going through a box o' stuff recently, so I slapped em' on the scanner today to toss up here. The originals didn't have the Monster Mash border around them like the others, but they were bigger and scanned nicely...

Meet the Horror Bloggers: Dr. Gangrene's Tales From the Lab

Over at the excellent blog ZOMBO'S CLOSET OF HORRORS  there has been an ongoing series called "Meet the Horror Bloggers." Here is the official description of this series:

This is really a very, very neat idea and a great read. It is fun to find out what is behind the minds of the folks who blog regularly on the horror business, and what got them into this genre. When you're there do yourself a favor and take some time and look around, because there is a veritable feast of fun links and information on this blog. It's attractively designed and organized (love the vintage Halloween art) in a way that makes it very easy to find links to just about anything you could be looking for, from Horror Hosts and Haunted Attractions to comic books and online horror radio programs and everything in between. Definitely a great site, and one to bookmark for sure!
